SEC BARS HEDGE FUND ADVISER FROM INDUSTRY FOR MISREPRESENTING PERFORMANCE

The SEC barred Michael Higgins from associating with an investment adviser. Mr. Higgins was the principal of Ballybunion Capital Partners, LLC. The SEC had charged Mr. Higgins with misrepresenting the performance of a hedge fund that he managed, including stating that the hedge fund was profitable when in fact it lost more than 60% of its principal.
